Journeyed to teh property on fri. Stayed for 3 days. Was brilliant! rode our neighbour's horse for her as it was being a bit of a turd. was so much fun to ride. We have owned this bit of land for ten yrs and never have i seen it looking so good. and never have i associated with our neighbours. Then, all of a sudden, it's on 4 in teh afternoon and we hear the neighbour's chopper starting up. yes. He builds choppers AS A HOBBY!!!
so anyway, we climb through the fence and have a squiz. fancy stuff this helicopter business. all shiny fibreglass and intricate buttons.
after inspecting his handiwork its back to our dinner, cooked on the embers of a bonfire. so outdoors-y. The neighbours from both sides joined us and we sat late into the night drinking dad's home grown wine and dining on ALDI peanuts.
Monday we took 4 modes of public transport to reach Ben's nana in Nerang. Thanks to Vicky for the extreme vigilance re public transport journey planning. we finally managed to get to where we were heading, half dead, but there.
from there we then took 2 buses to get to MovieWorld where we met up with Rob, already waiting in line and looking touristy at his irst visit to a theme park. We managed to do every ride; Superman and Scooby TWICE. Oh my god. Superman. I think i may have developed a heart palpitation due to the extremity of that ride. The second time round, we were right up front, dying at the sight ahead. Plummetting with 1.6 negative g force facefirst towards teh hard ground. Thank God Superman was there to save us all. And as fo the rest of the park i will slowly update teh photos, probably when i get home.
So much to tell. from teh disgustingly overpriced Public transport to the evil attendant at the Lethal Weapon ride. Anyway. It is too hot and muggy to b sitting in one spot for so long. My bumcheeks are starting to stick together. Gotta go and get some air.
