Wesole Czasy

Happy times.

Before i launch into holiday recap, witnessed THE best thing...old woman. blood curdling scream. little white fluffy dog barely 1 m away from her. old woman: " Pepi...come here. come here you BITCH!" old woman sees me..."sorry, i don't normally swear lady"....oh thank you making me smile....lady???

Day 1: meal 1 (lunch) approx 1 pm. rye breads, horseradish, hams, sausages, pumpkin soup. followed by a nap
meal 2 (dinner) approx 3 30. meat balls with cucumber salad and soft mushy potatoes. accompanied by a vintage Shiraz and followed by another nap.
meal 3 (supper) approx 6 thirty Halka (sweet polish yeast cake) and warm milk
Snacks were permitted between meals and normally consisted of black coffee, nuts and kisiel (polish blackcurrant jelly)
This process continued for each day of the holiday and the evening cake was occasionally substituted with whichever cake was made that day. i.e cheesecake, gingerbread, halka, birthday sponge with chocolate cream The main meal of the day was different each day. Comprised of a combination of chicken schnitzel, goulash, fish, sausages, barley, buckwheat, rice and soft cooked potatoes.

the main meal was, however, replaced when on the property for skewers of sausage, capsicum and onion, accompanied by fire toasted rye and potatoes, followed by toasted marshmallows.

now...indulge in my eating/cooking holiday snaps
